CUPID: JOHN GLADSTONE a true, true son of Trinidad & Tobago passed away on Monday 9th October, 2017 at the age of 87. He lived with zealous love for his country and worked tirelessly for the preservation and transmittance of Trinidad & Tobago culture and history. Cupid joins his beloved wife Adria (nee Bruno).He is survived by his children Jim,Leslie and Betty Anne Cupid and grandchildren Kamaria Cupid-Wilson, Zahra, Savita, Ezekiel,Emanuel and Karissa Cupid; Father in law of Winniefred Jordan-Cupid and Vivek Patel; Grandfather of Jimelle Wilson. Brother of Rupert Cupid and Henry Reyes (d).Brother in law of Janet Reyes, Eunice Alleyne, Alfonso Bruno(Venezuela), Sylvia Collins and Yvonne Bailey. Uncle of Keeley, Kala, Kern, Kendal and Kerwin Reyes; Warren and Jason Alleyne; Canute, Carlyle, Craig and Allison Cupid of Canada, Dane Garcia,Myrtle Collins and many others.He was a friend and advocate of the National Carnival Commission, the Borough of Point Fortin,the cultural fraternity of Trinidad and Tobago and others whose lives were changed by his contagious enthusiasm for his beloved country and all its people. The funeral of the late John Cupid takes place on Saturday 14th October, 2017 at 9:00 am, from The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Port of Spain.
